The film introduces “Anong Daratnan?,” a localized version of the original song “Beyond,” written by Grammy-winning duo Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear. This marks a historic moment as the first Filipino song featured in a Disney animated film, to be played during the end credits of Moana 2’s Philippine release.
Belle Mariano’s Disney Dream
Belle Mariano couldn’t hide her excitement about the opportunity. “It’s been my dream to work with Disney,” she shared. “Moana is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I’ve channeled her courage in my rendition of this song.”

Rachel Fong, Studio General Manager of Walt Disney Southeast Asia, highlighted the importance of local collaborations. She expressed that working with Belle Mariano will allow Filipino audiences to feel a deeper connection to Moana’s inspiring journey across the vast ocean.

The sequel, set three years after the original film, follows Moana and Maui as they embark on a daring new voyage across Oceania. Starring Auli’i Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui, the film brings back its beloved characters with fresh adventures.

The Filipino rendition, performed by Belle Mariano, will be available on streaming platforms starting November 22. This release date comes just days before Moana 2 premieres in the Philippines, bringing even more excitement to Disney fans nationwide.
