  1. The role of the subconscious in connecting humans to the Ocean and its more-than-human inhabitants:
Do islands and seamounts have agency, perhaps even a consciousness, of their own? How do the winds communicate with living beings beyond facilitating their movements? How do tropical forests keep memories of their past?
These are some of the questions that will guide the five sessions of the semester that you are invited to reflect on within your text.

  2. Environmental impact of tech industries on water access:
As global data networks expand, sovereignty is increasingly tied to control over information flows rather than physical territories. Yet, these infrastructures are inherently dependent on physical spaces, including oceans, which are becoming new frontiers for data processing and storage. This raises urgent questions about how tech companies can extend private interests and influence specific territories, often bypassing local regulations and increasing ecological risks. While the participants of the activations will analyze the physical and geopolitical dimensions of computing infrastructures in the Caribbean, for this open call, we are looking for texts adding other examples of the industrialization of water.

Islands flow in its own rythme, carrying waves and waves of memories within.

We see birds, spreading their wings, sharpening their peaks on the everchanging rocks.

'du du', they say, when their feathers touch upon each other,

'du du', they say.

I grew up with the ocean, in the ocean, beneath the ocean. When the sun shines on its 轔轔的翅膀,I can feel my conscious flow within. Like a 鉛球 went straight down to the bottom got eaten by fish and its body got torned by octupus with its 8 legs and its changing colour and

And then I float.

Floating with other corpses,
