A Poem: Do you have siblings?
We used to boast too
That we had brothers and sisters
Some decades ago
Everyone had several
Siblings always disagree
Quarrel and fight
Despite their grades in school
Difference in ages
Closeness to the parents
A pecking order
Has to be in place
My brother never apologized to me
Or thanked me
For all the spanking I took for him
He’d never known the causes
Till his death before adolescence
