No.5 Django Unchained (2012)
Directed by Quentin Tarantino
Starring Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCarpio, Jamie Foxx and Samuel L Jackson
Favourite OST:
Famous Line:
Calvin Candie: White cake?
Dr. King Schultz: I don't go in for sweets, thank you.
Calvin Candie: Are you brooding 'bout me getting the best of ya, huh?
Dr. King Schultz: Actually, I was thinking of that poor devil you fed to the dogs today, D'Artagnan. And I was wondering what Dumas would make of all this.
Calvin Candie: Come again?
Dr. King Schultz: Alexander Dumas. He wrote "The Three Musketeers." I figured you must be an admirer. You named your slave after his novel's lead character. If Alexander Dumas had been there today, I wonder what he would have made of it?
Calvin Candie: You doubt he'd approve?
Dr. King Schultz: Yes. His approval would be a dubious proposition at best.
Calvin Candie: Soft hearted Frenchy?
Dr. King Schultz: Alexander Dumas is black.
No. 4 Once Upon a time in Hollywood (2019)
Starring: Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCarpio and Margot Robbie.
Famous Quote:
Pussycat : Want me to suck your cock while driving?
Cliff Booth : [thinks for a bit] How old are you?
Pussycat : What?
Cliff Booth : How old are you?
Pussycat : Wow, man. First time anybody asked that in a long time.
Cliff Booth : What's the answer?
Pussycat : Okay, we gonna play kiddie games? Eighteen. Feel better?
Cliff Booth : You got some I.D., you know, like, a driver's license or something?
Pussycat : [laughing] Are you joking?
Cliff Booth : No, I'm not. I need to see something official that verifies that you're eighteen, which you don't have because you're not.
Pussycat : Talk about a bring-down bummer, dude. Not you.
Cliff Booth : Yeah.
Pussycat : Obviously, I'm not too young to fuck you, but obviously, you are too old to fuck me.
Cliff Booth : What I'm too old to do is go to jail for poon tang. Prison tried to get me all my life, ain't got me yet. Day it does, it won't be because of you. No offense.
No.3 Inglourious Bastards (2009)
Starring: Brad Pitt, Christopher Waltz, Michael Fassbender
Famous line:
Bridget von Hammersmark: I know this is a silly question before I ask it, but can you Americans speak any other language besides English?
Col. Hans Landa: [in German] So who are your three handsome escorts?
Bridget von Hammersmark: [in German] I'm afraid neither three speak a word of German. They're friends of mine from Italy. This is the wonderful Italian stuntman, Enzo Gorlomi; a very talented cameraman, Antonio Margheriti; and Antonio's camera assistant, Dominick Decocco.
Bridget von Hammersmark: [in Italian] Gentlemen, this is an old friend, Colonel Hans Landa of the SS.
Lt. Aldo Raine: [in Italian with obvious southern accent] Buongiorno.
Col. Hans Landa: [in flawless Italian] Gentlemen, it's a pleasure; the friends of our cherished star, admired by all of us, this outright jewel of our culture, are naturally going to be under my personal protection for the duration of their stay.
Lt. Aldo Raine: [after a pause] Grazie.
Col. Hans Landa: [in Italian] Gorlomi? Am I pronouncing it correctly?
Lt. Aldo Raine: [in a very bad accent] Sì... er, corretto.
Col. Hans Landa: [in Italian] Gorla... lomi? Say it for me once please?
Lt. Aldo Raine: [mispronouncing the name] Gorlami.
Col. Hans Landa: [in Italian, faking confusion] I'm sorry, again?
Lt. Aldo Raine: [slightly annoyed] Gorlami.
Col. Hans Landa: [in Italian] Once more?
Lt. Aldo Raine: [obviously annoyed, leans forward and whispers] Gorlami.
No.2 Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Starring: Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney, Michael Madsen
Best OST:
Little Green Bag
Famous Line:
Joe Cabot: This man set us up.
Nice Guy Eddie: Dad, I'm sorry, but I don't know what the Hell's happening.
Joe Cabot: That's all right, Eddie. I do.
Mr. White: What the fuck are you talking about?
Joe Cabot: That lump of shit's working with the LAPD.
Mr. Orange: Joe, I don't have the slightest fucking idea what you're talking about.
Mr. White: Joe, Joe, I don't know what you think you know, but you're wrong.
Joe Cabot: Like Hell I am.
Mr. White: Joe, trust me on this, you're making a mistake. He's a good kid. I understand you're hot, you're super fucking pissed. We're all real emotional. But you're barking up the wrong tree. I know this man; he wouldn't do that.
Joe Cabot: You don't know jack shit. I do: The cocksucker tipped off the cops and got Mr. Brown and Mr. Blue killed.
Mr. Pink: Mr. Blue is dead?
Joe Cabot: Dead as Dillinger.
Mr. White: How do you know all this?
Joe Cabot: He was the only one I wasn't a hundred percent on. I should have my fucking head examined going ahead when I wasn't a hundred percent.
Mr. White: That's your proof?!
Joe Cabot: You don't need proof when you have instinct. I ignored it before, but no more. [Draws a gun and aims at Orange]
[Mr. White draws a gun and aims at Joe. And Eddie draws a gun and aims at White.]
Nice Guy Eddie: Have you lost your fucking mind?
Mr. White: Joe, you're making a terrible mistake. I'm not gonna let you make it.
Mr. Pink: [Slowly backing away] Come on, guys. Nobody wants this. We're supposed to be fucking professionals!
Nice Guy Eddie: Larry, look...It's been quite a long time, a lot of jobs. There's no need for this, man. Let's just put our guns down, and let's settle this with a fucking conversation.
Mr. White: Joe, if you kill that man, you die next. Repeat: If you kill that man, you die next.
Nice Guy Eddie: Larry, we have been friends, and you respect my dad, and I respect you. But I will put fucking bullets right through your heart if you don't put that fucking gun down now.
Mr. White: Goddamn you, Joe. Don't make me do this.
Nice Guy Eddie: LARRY STOP POINTING THAT FUCKING GUN AT MY DAD!
[White, Eddie, and Joe all shoot simultaneously.]
No. 1 Pulp Fiction (1994) and Kill Bill Vol.1 and Vol 2 (2003 and 2004)
Kill Bill Best OST:
Bang Bang
The Grand Duel
Run by Run
Battle without honor or humanity
Pulp Fiction Best OST:
You never can tell
Famous line:
(Kill Bill)
Budd: That woman deserves her revenge...and we deserve to die.
The Bride: What are you doing here?
Bill: What am I doing? A moment ago, I was playin' my flute. But this moment, I'm looking at the most beautiful bride these old eyes have ever seen.
The Bride: Why are you here?
Bill: Last look.
Elle Driver: Are you going to be nice?
Bill: I've never been nice my whole life, but I'll do my best... to be sweet.
The Bride: As I said before, I've allowed you to keep your wicked life for two reasons. And the second reason is so you can tell him in person everything that happened here tonight. I want him to witness the extent of my mercy by witnessing your deformed body. I want you to tell him all the information you just told me. I want him to know what I know. I want him to know I want him to know. And I want them all to know they'll all soon be as dead as O-Ren.
(Pulp Fiction)
Mia Wallace: Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent Vega: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia Wallace: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.
Jules Winnfield: You ever read the Bible, Brett?
Brett: Yes!
Jules Winnfield: There's a passage that I got memorized, seems appropiate for this situation: Ezekiel 25,17. "The path of the righteous man is beset of all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil me. Blessed is he who, in the name of the charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Mia Wallace: That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.
Jules Winnfield: Normally, both your asses would be dead as fucking fried chicken, but you happen to pull this shit while I'm in a transitional period so I don't wanna kill you, I wanna help you. But I can't give you this case, it don't belong to me. Besides, I've already been through too much shit this morning over this case to hand it over to your dumb ass.
