是夜。我終於成功撐住了疲倦，以弱不禁風但賤肉橫生的身子，以及一副洗盡鉛華不堪入目的尊容，強撐到熹微時分。看見那漸近而至的晨光霞彩，逐點逐點地漂染了半壁的天空和浮雲。雖然沒有捉到鹹蛋黃躍出水平面的那一刻，但我還是被觸動了。日出時分是適合作期許的。我希望在新一天來臨以前，你能把所有該忘記的，那些不安不滿不情不願不歡不快不明不白不盡不實，統統擦去。就如小時候玩的磁粉塗鴉板上的刷條一樣，只要狠狠地一拉到底，就能片污不留。我默許，並悄悄告訴身旁的你。

在靜謐的海傍，觀音慈目的光照之下，我捨血餵蚊子，派餅飼老鼠，並陪伴不眠的你。算是成就了一椿美事。你嘆息，我心裏也不免唏噓。原以為小城繁華燈影不滅，將一直璀璨奪目至百世之後，然而實情總是來得太急且不帶懸念，疫症之下，娛樂場的霓虹光也不怎麼耀眼了。不過這又是另一個故事。
