《橄欖樹下的情人》(Through The Olive Trees, 1994) 影評

梭羅不是說 to put to rout all that was not life，看完阿巴斯的電影，這正是我想做的事 - 摒棄一切不屬於生活的事物......

一種無法言語的震撼。

“They only answer to hello and goodbye. But if you say goodbye and don’t leave, they won’t answer your hello anymore.”

假導演Farhad(非職業演員飾演)跟「真」導演(由伊朗資深演員科沙瓦茲飾演)在一個清晨對著Koker大喊，一切再由本部片的導演阿巴斯拍下，這真的是太神奇了！

Hossein: "Ma'am, I'm really sorry. I want to do everything you ask me, but I won't do masonry. I don't work in construction anymore. I came to act in your film. I will work as an actor, but not as a mason."

Hossein (to Tahereh): "It's true. I won't work as a mason anymore. Even if I do, I will only do it for you."

這幕是我裡頭也很喜歡的，Hossein希望Tahereh翻頁來表明自己的心意，就在Tahereh好像要翻頁的時候，導演突然喊action。而一個很明顯但不知道大家有沒有注意到的，是一開始找那個口吃男演的時候，是扮演一個水泥工，扛水泥上樓，後來Hossein來的時候，先扛了一次水泥，結果因為Tahereh不回答而失敗。隔天再次嘗試的時候，導演讓Hossein改穿西裝，兩人扮演新婚夫妻。當然在這之前也有Madam Shiva的努力，她跟Tahereh說如果不願意配合演出，她就要被換角......
